how i envision myself.

*This is my conversational face* I've been a very, very bad blogger lately :( I've been lazy, stumped, whipped, and torn down by life. Okay, well no one ever said I wasn't the most exaggerating girl there was when I was growing up, but truth is I'm really tired. I'm actually packing my case for a summer long trip to Yale University where I'll be, once again, shadowing a couple doctors and getting paid to learn! Oh yeah!

But, let me not scare anyone away here. *Get back to work!* Well, back to this post as it stands. My boring, unhectic life (haha *unhectic, I make up my own words guys) is not the point of this.

See the face? Okay, well that's my "what the fuck are you talking about face?" Don't judge. It probably looks better when I have one of those moments, instead of me getting pissed at my camera. But I'm sure you see the more than creeped out faces in this post. I kinda went a little nuts at the 'shop? *twiddles fingers* Let me explain. I have this character who's Nameless and Faceless- eventually when I do an art post or something, you'll see what I'm saying, and I have no idea what I was thinking when I created her, except she has no face. Well, she has a lot of nothing really :D Anywhooo, I guess I channeled that.

I sometimes hate getting technical about a specific piece of work, when it's not mine of course, or even when my friends swear by the heavens I was thinking something specifically when I created it. Why do we all think Shakespeare, in every single piece of literature he wrote, was such an original smart ass?  Don't get me wrong, I love his work, especially his sonnets, but not everything has to be dissected! Maybe he was smoking when he wrote his stuff. The guy probably wasn't even thinking "Haha, in 200 years I'm going to have people from all over flocking to understand what the hell I'm trying to say!" *insert crazy dance here* I'm convinced he was way ahead of his time though. He was one of the most out there but in the closet, men. Read Sonnet 20 if you don't believe me. He gets kudos for that one! Totally off topic, but on the same topic, I think that's how religion was created. Not meaning to spite anyone though. *whispers* Not my intention at'all ...

But have you ever done something where you just feel like you didn't know why you did it, or how it happened for that matter? (I have a lot of those kinds of stories. In fact my mom, for a couple of years was wondering where she went wrong with me) But I think it's just one of those things. Like this picture of my hands.

Or this picture of my rings and my favorite pair of shoes!

i often ponder just WHY i did whatever i did and however much i try to think up of a logical explanation, fail at making sense out of my actions ... i usually go with the "it must be my hormones" excuse :p

as for shakespeare, well he did rip off a lot from myths and was influenced by other playwrights like christopher marlowe .. but anyway...

i like the photo of your shoes :D

AH THANKS FOR THE POSITIVITY. TWAS NEEDED.

i love the way you edit your photos. and the nameless faceless is genius. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE SHOES YUM.

as for your theories on religion/shakespeare - I COMPLETELY AGREE. HEY ENGLISH DEPARTMENT? HOW ABOUT SOME CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE FOR A CHANGE. OR SOMETHING. man i feel righteous.

i've always get that feeling when i've done something and wondered why i did it. most of the time its because of what i've said. but if i over think things it actually makes me go crazy so i've learned not to care anymore! ahaaah

heyyyy girl, super -cool post! i really like your straightforward insights combined with the expressive pics. i love the way you edited the colors. you're such an attractive figure, really!

anyway, about shakespeare, i think most of the people would agree that his works are kinda hard to understand, although he did write things soooo beautifully; yesterday i and dev just discussed how hard it is to understand his writing. hehe..

Hey young lady, I feel your tiredness... I am definitely in the same boat. I haven't posted in a while and finally a posted a wonderful piece on Leigh Viner - please check out JNava when you can. Thank you for your response on relationships, they are quite intricate and often frustrating. I appreciate your honesty and everything you do - if anything, I hope that's one thing people understand about your blog and how you live your life. It's absolutely beautiful in my eyes and I find strength in it. Have fun on your road trip to Yale! I'm off to Cali next week for networking in L.A. and expanding the JNava brand. Should be fun.

P.S. I love your glasses and style ;)

All the best,

Mark
